This project entails the rehabilitation of 3 interlockings and 10 curves in the CBD Area in Baltimore, MD for MTA’s active light rail system. All work will be performed during nonrevenue time periods or during carefully coordinated shutdowns to avoid impact to MTA light rail operations.
C3M will remove, replace, and reinstall signal equipment, switch heaters, switch machines, and track connections. The scope of work also includes the rehabilitation of the overhead contact system.
This is C3M’s second interlocking rehabilitation project with MTA and first project with RailWorks.
