LA Metro will construct the AMC 96th Street Station, a new multi-modal transportation center that will connect passengers between multiple modes of transportation within the Metro system and the Los Angles International Airport (LAX) automated people mover. A main component of this new station will be the installation of a platform for the Crenshaw LAX light rail transit line.

C3M will modify overhead catenary systems and train control systems, relocate communications and train control system cables, and install associated cable troughs and duct banks.
