Inova Alexandria Hospital

Inova Alexandria Hospital includes a 600,000-square-foot hospital building, a 110,000-square-foot cancer center, a 95,000-square-foot specialty care center, a 32,000-square-foot central utility plant, and two parking garages. It is located on the former Landmark Mall site.

C3M fabricated and delivered a power can that distributes power to office trailers and dewatering pumps. The team quickly provided power using a gas generator until local utility coordination with Dominion, the local electrical utility, could be completed, after which the power source was switched from the generator to utility connection.

C3M deployed transformers, in addition to the power cans, to complete the power distribution system. These transformers are prefabricated on power skids, which makes their installation on site efficient.
